Overview

Dear Customer

  1. Only the hirer of the vehicle as mentioned in the agreement is authorized to
    drive the vehicle, as well as the person(s) mentioned in the agreement as “
    additional driver(s)”.In case there is an accident and the driver is not
    mentioned in the agreement as hirer and/or as “additional driver(s)” and
    consequently is not authorized to drive the vehicle, the insurance becomes
    invalid (lapses)and the hirer is completely responsible for all direct and
    indirect loss.
    When renting the car the hirer have to provide a credit card as a security
    deposit that will be blocked for an amount $500.-/$750.-/$1000.-
    (depending the car model you choose)
    Fee for an “additional driver” is .$ 5.- per day US
  2. In case you accept the CDW/Theft your responsibility for damage to the
    vehicle you hire is .$99.- The CDW/Theft doesn’t cover the following US
    situations: “one way” accidents, driving under influence of alcohol or
    drugs, speeding, hitting rocks or stones, off road driving, damages to third
    part exceeding .$50.000. and vandalism. If you don’t accept the US
    CDW/Theft, you are responsible for the total amount of loss. A valid police
    report of theft and/or damages and the car key must be presented to our
    company, if not the insurance becomes invalid.
    In case of accident and no damage is noticed on your vehicle the hirer has
    to pay $85 for the insurance claim cost of the other party.
  3. In case the driver drives faster than the speed limit, the insurance becomes
    invalid. Driving faster than permitted is not allowed. You must slow down in
    case of a wet road surface.
  4. Damages and losses are charged as per the dealership

Smoking inside vehicles is forbidden. Violation penalty fee is $250.-

Driving off-road and on white sand is not allowed. Any damage to the
vehicle due to off-road or white sand is for hirer’s account.

You are provided with a……..tank of gasoline/diesel and you must return it
with the same amount. Additional charges per 1/8 tank of gasoline/diesel
is $15.- for cars and $20.- for jeeps. Sorry, no refund.

In case of an accident call the police at Tel. 100 and our office at
Tel. 587-7900 / 699-8100. Our employee will help you to obtain the
necessary information. An accident report must be filled out.
Road emergency service available by calling +297 568 6464 only for
discharged battery, flat tires, empty tank (fuel cost not included) and
opening of locked doors or accidents

As of January 1, 2023 a 7% sales tax and license plate fee of $1 a day will
be added on your final bill

If possible we will provide service to the best of our capabilities with a flat
tire at the rates on the items to check form. Please take note that the rate
includes the gas, time and staffloss

Return the vehicle as agreed. If there is any change about time, date or
place notify us at Tel . 699-8100 or 587-7900.
SSG Car Rental is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the
car. When the vehicle is returned dirty/wet from INSIDE the renter will be
charged $150 for the cleaning of the car and one day rental time lost.

The hirer is at all times directly responsible to for all SSG Car Rental
damages, In case of soft included water damage for convertible vehicles.

and declares to pay these damages before leaving the island.

When the hirer is responsible for the damages, he/she gives SSG Car
Rental the power of attorney to use any credit card or company card if
necessary, to pay the damage.

You understand that declining the C.D.W./Theft or not acting in accordance
with the rental agreement and the additional conditions I am responsible
for any and all loss, damage, towing etc. of the vehicle regardless of the
question of who is to blame.
14 the hirer agrees for inspection and accepting the condition of the vehicle

My responsibility will not exceed the full value of the vehicle at the time it is
lost or damaged plus actual towing, storage and survey fees and a
reasonable charge for time loss.

I understand that any agreement I have with American Express, Discover,
Visa, MasterCard or my insurance in reference to the covering for damage,
towing, loss etc. to the rented vehicle is between me and American
Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard or my insurance.

At all times I will be directly responsible to “SSG Car Rental” for all
damages, towing, loss etc. of the rented vehicle and hereby I authorize
“SSG Car Rental” to charge my Credit Card with the respective amount to
pay.

Insurance cost $ 13.- per day for cars and for $ 25.- per day, CDW US VANS
SUV $ 25 per day, Jeep Wrangler 2 doors $ 25 per day, and Jeep Wrangler
4 doors $ 30 per day. Jeep 2019+$35 per day
